Advertising your event

If you are selling tickets for your event, you will need to make sure that people know about it, and so will come along. The best way to advertise is in the local area through word of mouth, posters and flyers. Don't forget to put a poster up in the venue, well in advance. Local free papers often have an events listing section, which is usually free. You can also contact your local radio stations, newspapers, etc... They will be especially interested if there is a 'good angle' to the story, for example if you are raising money for a good cause.

We can help a little, by putting details on our website, on our facebook page, on twitter, etc... We also have contacts with various dance groups who have people that may wish to come along. Please let us have as much detail as soon as possible, including a contact name, telephone number and email address for people wanting tickets, we will need to know the ticket price, and any other relevant details, such as what the dance is in aid of if it is a fundraiser.
