Loughborough Folk Dance Club

Loughborough Folk Dance Club meets on Monday nights at St. Peter's Community Centre on Storer Road. The Bang On The Wall Band usually perform here a couple of times each year. We often don't have the full band line-up. It will usually be Martin and Phil along with one or more of the club musicians. The club arranges the dance caller, so it is not usually with our regular caller. You may get the odd one or two fun-type ceilidh dances on a club night, but they tend to go for a slightly different style of dancing, with more emphasis on complex figures, and not so much high energy stepping. If you would like to meet Martin and Phil, this might be a good opportunity to come and have a chat. However it's not really ideal for seeing the band performing at our best. You're better off looking out for a public dance on our events page.
